Personal Website
I’m a community organizer in indie games, and you’ve found (what will be) my portfolio.
I am not actively looking for work on commercial games right now, but if you’d like to see what I was doing as a producer, you can check out my old resume. There’s some contact info over there, it’s reasonably up to date.
My pronouns are they/them.
Eventually this site will have a Projects page with more details about each of the things in that resume, but in brief:
I’ve spoken at Roguelike Celebration in 2017 (live fanfiction reading), 2018 (“A Trip to the Morgue: Considering Death in Roguelikes”), and 2019 (“A Conduct Conversation”).
From 2020 onwards, I have been part of the organizing committee. I’ve touched almost every part of the process in the virtual conference, and now view a piece of my role as enabling new volunteers to take on more of the process and distributing institutional knowledge.
I was one of the first producers at Strange Scaffold, helping a wide constellation of developers in every discipline ship a wide variety of small games in an efficient yet human-focused way. I was part of seven games across PC and console, primarily as a producer but also involved in studio management and a little bit of design and writing!
I was also the producer and administraion manager for The Funkin Crew, taking the viral rhythm game Friday Night Funkin’ from Newgrounds to the world. I managed the project as well as coordinating with logistics in merchandising, legal representation, and more.
Again, I am not actively looking for work on commercial games right now, but there is one project related to games I’m slowly working on in the background. More on that soon.
