2017 - Nethack fanfic
I gave a Lightning Talk in Roguelike Celebration 2017 - well, more specifically, I dramatically read “Just because it says READ ME doesn’t mean you should”, a Nethack fanfic about the Oracle.
2018 - Morgue Experience
I gave another Lightning Talk in 2019 - this one on the “morgue”, or post-failure player experience.
This particular talk was quite well recieved, and I went on two podcasts to explore the concept in more depth!
2019 - Conducts
In 2019, I gave a full length talk on the history of “conducts”, or player-driven achievements in roguelikes.
